we have two kind of martabak the salt one and the sweet one...since i'm not so wild with the "sweet " i always take the salt one....enjoy
Ingredienst :
500 Gr of height protein wheat flour
270 ml water
100 grm vegetable oil
salt to taste
oil to soak the dough
Direction : Mixed all ingredients . knead until not sticky. weighing 80 grm round it off. soak in oil for 2 hour.
filling :
500 grm ground beef
6 cloves garlic chopped
1 chopped onion
salt, pepper , sugar to taste
sauteed all of this ingredients ..set aside
Additional : Stir
500 gr chopped onions
500 grm sliced green onions
Egg 5-8 stk
salt-pepper to taste
Direction for martabak :
■ contents : mixed filling and additional , mix well and set aside.
■ take one dough circle
■ pressed by hand, pull the right hand side , pull it until it flat.
■ put in flat pan that has been poured hot cooking oil.
■ after the skin a little crispy batter pour contents
■ into the skin fold
Cook until well browned ■
SERVE :
serve with a pickle and gravy sauce made from vinegar mixture - water - brown sugar , some people like to add tamarind instead vinegar.
pickles made from cucumbers red onions green chilies soaked with vinegar - salt - sugar - water ..
